SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Construction begins Thursday on the East Genesee Street portion of the Connective Corridor in Syracuse. Travel will be reduced to one lane Eastbound between University Avenue and Forman Avenue.

Construction is anticipated to last for about six months.

Drivers are advised to expect delays and to use alternate routes if possible.
