CHEMUNG COUNTY, N.Y. -- Chemung County officials are now filing a motion to dismiss lawsuits that were filed against them regarding the foreclosure of First Arena. The county foreclosed on the property in February and later tabled the owners' request to re-purchase it.

The Afr family owns the arena and sued the county for the way the foreclosure was handled. But county officials said they handled it legally.

The first hearing for the case will be held in Supreme Court in Chemung County Tuesday at 1:30 p.m.
