The Syracuse Orange are on their way to the Sweet 16. This after a 75-59 win over the Kansas State Wildcats. Our Brad Vivacqua is in Pittsburgh talking to fans and got their reaction.

PITTSBURGH, PA. -- SU fans not only here in Pittsburgh, but all over all the country are overjoyed their Orange are on their way to the Sweet 16. A good amount of fans here could be found wearing Orange and we spoke to some before and after the game.

Saturday, Orange fans entering Consol Energy Center were hoping the Cuse would get off to a better start than they did in Thursdays opening round win.

So far this tournament has seen its share of upsets, and fans I talked to say they didn't want Syracuse to join the list of contenders turned pretenders.

And so with two big wins in the Steel City, the Orange survive and will advance to Boston for the Sweet 16.

So as you can tell fans here in Pittsburgh are really excited about the team moving on.
The Orange will take on the winner of Vanderbilt and Wisconsin on Thursday in the Sweet 16.
