Changes During the Weekend

High pressure continues to dominate our weather today with sunshine and a few clouds, mainly north, as a cool front eases southward from Canada. Other than a subtle wind shift, mainly north, the front will have little effect on our weather and retreat back northward by Friday as a warm front, reinforcing the pleasant weather. Highs will range from the 50s near larger lakes and in the mountains to the low to mid 60s in valleys, especially from the Mohawk south. High pressure will remain in conrol through Saturday with mild weather. A cold front will move through later in the weekend and stall during Sunday with scattered showers and somewhat cooler weather.
