UPSTATE NEW YORK -- The Jets and Giants are both taking a day off from practice Tuesday. Both teams will return to the field on Wednesday.
Just days into camp, some story lines are already developing.
At Jets Camp in Cortland, there has been lots of talk about who will be taking snaps when the season begins on September 9th. The big question is, who's going to be catching passes?
Coaches are trying out several wideouts including three rookies and five others with less than three years of NFL experience.
Meanwhile in Albany at Giants camp, there's more concern on the defensive side of the ball. Cornerback Terrell Thomas, who missed all of last season with a torn ACL, reinjured that same knee slipping in practice on Sunday.
The Giants said he's visiting team doctors and are unsure how long he will be out.
