SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- The teen accused of shooting a man last Christmas has been indicted by a grand jury.

Nigel Nelson, 17, was arrested after police say he shot Aubrey Anderson, 26, on the corner of Butternut and Grassman streets.

Anderson was hospitalized with a serious chest injury.

Nelson was indicted Thursday on charges of second degree assault and second degree criminal possession of a weapon.
