CHEMUNG COUNTY, N.Y. -- State troopers are charging a Maryland man for a robbery at Arnot Mall.

According to investigators it happened at the Kay Jewelers store on Thursday.

William Howard, 22, is facing one charge of robbery in the third degree.

State police say the suspect was staying with a friend on the Mansfield University campus in Pennsylvania.

Howard was arrested by Wellsboro Police and is awaiting extradition proceedings.
