BINGHAMTON, N.Y. -- In Binghamton, the snow really picked up Friday night. A few inches fell within just a few hours, but it was certainly not as intense as in other parts of the state.

Reported snow totals in the Southern Tier ranged between at least four-and-a-half inches in Painted Post and at least seven-and-a-half inches in Waverly.
