ELMIRA, N.Y. -- Guthrie's Robert Packer Hospital is looking for people to join their team. Hospital representatives hosted Guthrie's job fair in Elmira Wednesday.

Experts were looking for new employees for the emergency, medical and surgical departments, as well as the ICU.

Job fairs like this give leaders a chance to interact with prospects.

"We really like the opportunity to get out and personally speak to people because it sometimes can be a little impersonal over the phone and the computer and people can, we do have a lot of the information out that way as well, but we really like to talk face to face to people and give them an idea of what our values are and what our commitment is to patients in our area and what we like," said Sam Shaw, Robert Packer Hospital Clinical Nurse Educator.

The hospital is looking to fill 20 full and part time positions.
