KIRKWOOD, N.Y. -- A bicyclist has died after being hit by an alleged drunk driver early Sunday morning. It happened on Upper Court Street in the Town of Kirkwood.

Deputies say 30-year-old Bradley Murray was biking home from work when he was hit on the shoulder of the road. Murray was taken to Wilson Hospital, where he later died.

The driver has been identified as 34-year-old Brandon Bowen from Waverly. He's been charged with felony DWI. He's in Broome County Jail awaiting further court action.
