BINGHAMTON, N.Y. -- The Impact Project, a local non-profit that helps families in need with home renovations, is giving a big Christmas gift to one local woman. The group installed new steps, driveway, sidewalk, and wheelchair ramp for a Binghamton woman suffering from multiple sclerosis.

The project, which is estimated to cost $10,000 if done out of pocket, is free of charge. This is the 53rd renovation the group has done in its nine-year history.
