ELMIRA, N.Y. -- The president and CEO of Arnot Health in Chemung County is retiring. Anthony Cooper has been guiding health personnel at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center in Elmira for 27 years. December 31st of next year will be Cooper's last day

Cooper is most proud of the transformation of a single hospital into a multi-facility healthcare system.

"I'm humbled with the people at Arnot Health have been able to do and just so proud that I was able to be a part of that," said Anthony Cooper, President, CEO Arnot Health.

Cooper will be replaced by Dr. Robert Lambert. He has been president of Arnot Medical Services since 2006 and is excited to take on the new role.
