ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Family and colleagues of fallen State Trooper Amanda Anna were in Rochester Tuesday night for a ceremony that pays tribute each year to fallen law enforcement officers from across New York State.

Trooper Anna was one of nine people honored at Christ Episcopal Church. She died in May in a crash while out on patrol in the Town of Hastings.

At Tuesday night's vigil, Anna's mother lit a candle in her honor.

She was one of five officers honored who were on duty when they lost their lives.
