JAMESVILLE, N.Y. - The Jamesville-DeWitt boys basketball program knows how to reload with five-straight trips to the state finals and four championships in that span, but this season the Red Rams are facing a rebuilding process after losing two NCAA Division I players and another who is attending a premier prep school.

Jamesville-DeWitt graduated Dajuan Coleman, now at Syracuse, Tyler Cavanaugh, now at Wake Forest, and Pete Drescher, now at Tilton prep in New Hampshire. In their wake, junior guard Jafar Kinsey will take over as the go-to guy with a cast of scrappy, mostly younger players supporting him.

The Red Rams open their regular season Friday night at home against Mexico.
