Burglary at Buerkle campaign office
SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Syracuse Police are investigating a burglary at Congresswoman Ann Marie Buerkle’s campaign office. It happened Sunday night at 2910 Erie Boulevard East, but wasn't discovered or reported until Monday morning. It was one of four offices burglarized.
Among the items taken were computers and other electronics.
Police have surveillance video and they're looking for a suspect: A black man between 5-foot-9 and six feet tall and 28 to 40 years of age. He was wearing a light colored knit cap at the time, a camouflage jacket and baggy light colored pants. The suspect was also wearing studded earrings.
