SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Fire damaged a home early Saturday morning on South Collingwood Avenue in Syracuse.

Crews were called in around 3 a.m. Saturday. It was completely engulfed in flames; the roof collapsed, causing severe structural damage.

No one was home.

One firefighter suffered a minor steam burn on his leg.

Officials say power had been shut off to the house to get things under control.

Because of the extent of the damage, investigators can't go inside yet to determine a cause.
