ADDISON, N. Y. -- A Steuben County man is accused of holding a child against their will.

Investigators with state police and child protective services say Matthew York of Addison tied up a child under the age of seventeen on October 16th.

They say he was in violation of an order of protection issued by family court at the time. York is now charged with unlawful imprisonment, criminal contempt and endangering the welfare of a child.

He's due back in court this Tuesday.
