ITHACA, N.Y. -- Ithaca Police arrest a man they say was in the act of breaking into a building. Police were called to a West Seneca Street building around 6:30 last night after someone noticed a suspicious man hiding in the shrubbery.

Moments later, police spotted Brett Heroy, 46, while he was holding a large pry bar. Police believe that he broke into the multi-use building which was reportedly missing property.

Heroy was charged with burglary in the third degree and was taken to Tompkins County Jail.
