DEPOSIT, N.Y. -- One person is dead following a crash in Broome County. It happened around 11 p.m. Thursday on Route 17 in the Town of Deposit.

The road was closed from the county line to the Town of Hancock at 11p.m. and reopened at 9 a.m.

State Police are investigating the crash.
