SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- A man has been indicted on murder charges stemming from a 2009 homicide in Syracuse. Aaron Jackson, 22, is charged in the shooting death of Terrace Hayward, 37.
Hayward was shot near the entrance of his apartment on Taft Avenue in December 2009.
Jackson was arrested back in June for the murder, but he was already in prison for a previous offense. He was indicted on charges of first degree murder, two counts of second degree murder, three counts of robbery, two counts of possession of a weapon and making a false written statement.
Authorities say the case is still being investigated and they say other suspects may have been involved in Hayward's death.
