Syracuse Police investigate two shootings

SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Syracuse Police are investigating two separate shootings.

The first happened on the 1500 block of South Avenue around 3 p.m. Tuesday. Police say Dayquan Clark, 18, was shot in the leg, but was able to walk home and call 911. He was taken to Upstate University Hospital for a non-life threatening injury.

The second shooting took place on the 300 block of West Kenney Street around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday. Police say Santawan Stackhouse, 22, was shot in the arm. He was also taken to Upstate for a non-life threatening injury.

Anyone with information about either shooting is asked to call the Syracuse Criminal Investigation Division at (315) 442-5222.
