CLINTON, N.Y. -- At least six people were displaced following a Wednesday morning fire at the Olde Carriage House Apartments in Clinton.

Two people were rescued from the second floor of the building by jumping into a pickup truck that a neighbor pulled up to the burning building. Neighbors say one of the people was taken to the hospital, but fire officials couldn't immediately confirm that.

Crews were able to knock down the fire in about 45 minutes and they're now looking into what caused it.

Firefighters also pulled a pet rabbit from the fire. The Red Cross is helping the people who lived in the four units affected find places to stay
