Crash in Trenton, two critically injured

TRENTON, N.Y. -- Two people are seriously hurt following an accident in Oneida County. It happened on Route 365 in the town of Trenton just after 10:00 a.m. on Sunday.

According to officials, a car driven by Erica Holovitz, 22, of Ilion, was hit after entering the intersection from South Side Road.

Holovitz was flown to Upstate University Hospital with critical injuries.

A passenger, Sandra Foti, 50, of Herkimer, also suffered critical injuries and was taken to St. Elizabeth Medical Center. The two people in the other vehicle were not hurt.

Deputies are still investigating the cause.
