SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Syracuse Police are asking for the public's help as they try to track down the driver in a hit and run.

Detectives say a man was biking on the 200 block of Robinson Street around 2:00 p.m. Saturday when he was hit by a black SUV. The victim was taken to Upstate University hospital where he is listed in critical condition. Meanwhile the search for the driver continues.

Witnesses told police the driver may have been in his teens and he appeared to be driving either a Jeep or a Land Rover with white license plates. The vehicle may also have minor damage to the front bumper on the passenger side.

Anyone with more information is asked to call Syracuse Police's traffic division at (315) 442-5151.
