Man shot, paralyzed in city shooting

SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- A man is in critical condition following a shooting in Syracuse. It happened on Putnam Street just before 3:30 Sunday morning.

According to investigators, someone fired multiple shots into the home from the driveway at 102 Putnam Street. Jaime Maldonado, 20, was hit in the neck. Maldonado was taken to Upstate University Hospital. Police say he is currently paralyzed from the neck down.
