SYRACUSE, N.Y. - They may have been the away team in their home stadium on Thursday but the Syracuse Chiefs looked right at home in a 10-0 win over the Empire State Yankees.
All nine starting players for Syracuse had at least one hit and seven drove in at least one run. That was far more run support than Zach Duke needed as he threw 5 2/3 innings to improve his record to 7-3 and drop his ERA to 3.77.
The Yankees are the home team for the four-game series as they're playing all of their games on the road this season due to renovations taking place at their stadium.
