CAUGHDENOY, N.Y. -- The Oswego County Sheriffs office is investigating a vehicle-bicycle accident in the hamlet of Caughdenoy that left one woman dead. Officials responded to an accident on County Route 33 around 6:20 Friday evening.

Deputies say Jesse Raymond, 28, was driving southbound on Route 33 when the vehicle left the west side of the roadway, hitting Mary Ann Nolan, 54. Nolan was riding a bicycle at the time.

She was transported to Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse where she later died. Deputies are still investigating the cause of the crash.
