SYRACUSE, NY - The Syracuse Chiefs gave up five runs in the sixth inning in a 9-6 loss to the Columbus Clippers Friday night, ending the team's seven-game winning streak at Alliance Bank Stadium.
Brett Carroll knocked in three of the Chiefs' runs and clubbed his second homerun of the season in defeat. Syracuse and Columbus will play two more games in the series before the Chiefs open another road trip Monday night.
