Man accused of abusing infant
ONEIDA COUNTY, N.Y. -- A former Rome man has been accused of seriously injuring an infant on more than one occasion.
Jonathon Greener, 20, currently of Clinton, was arrested following an investigation that began back in January when Rome Police were called to a home on North Washington Street for a report of an injured child. The eight-week-old infant they found there was taken to a Syracuse hospital with several broken bones in various stages of healing.
Greener has been charged with five counts of second degree assault. He was sent to the Oneida County Jail on $50,00 bail.
Police are not disclosing the relationship between Greener and the victim.
