UTICA, N.Y. -- The Broadway Theater League of Utica is ending its season with a bang.
Members of the Blue Man Group hit the stage at the Stanley beginning Friday, but first they took some time to meet with young musicians. Music students from ten Mohawk Valley schools sat in on a drum workshop with members of the cast. The performers talked about the unconventional drumming style used throughout the interactive show.
Theater League officials say the show marks the end of their highest-attended season ever, and it has something for everyone looking for one last theater experience until fall.
"I have trouble expressing what it is because it's comedy, it's visual, it's music and percussion. I don't think there's any one word to describe what it is," said John Fehlner, the league's executive director.
Tickets are still available for Saturday's shows.
