BINGHAMTON, N.Y. -- He announced his plans earlier this year, and now Dan Lamb has officially kicked off his campaign for Congress. The Democrat is facing off against Republican Congressman Richard Hanna in the newly-created 22nd Congressional District.
Lamb, making a stop in Binghamton, talked about his plans for the region. He is no stranger to politics. He has worked in long-time Congressman Maurice Hinchey's Office for 15 years.
Lamb says his campaign is about changing how our government works, creating jobs, and strengthening the economy.
"From Binghamton, to Utica. From Madison to Cortland. From Appalachin to Oswego, I still believe in this region and I really believe in its people. We've got, we've got all the pieces we need right here in Central New York," said Dan Lamb, candidate for 22nd Congressional District.
Lamb was making additional campaign stops today in Utica and Cortland.
