PENNSYLVANIA -- A Pennsylvania healthcare company believes it could settle the debate over the health effects that could possibly come from hydrofracking.
The director of Geisenger Health Systems says the company has plenty of health records from before and after natural gas drilling started in some communities. The company plans to analyze the data in hopes of providing a scientific conclusion into whether the practice has caused adverse health effects on communities.
The director also noted that the company is not making any assumptions and is looking at the issue from both the environmental and economic standpoints.
