SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- A man is seriously hurt after being hit by a car in Syracuse. It happened on the 400 block of James Street a little after 10:30 p.m. Saturday.

Police said a middle-aged man was crossing the street when he was hit by a car. The victim was taken to Upstate University Hospital, where he's listed in critical condition.

Police are still investigating the accident.
