Taste of Success to help youth
It's an opportunity to taste some great food and help a great cause at the same time. The third annual Taste of Success takes place tomorrow night at the State Fairgrounds to help support the Hillside Work-Scholarship Connection. Our Brad Vivacqua has more on the special event.

ONONDAGA COUNTY, N.Y. -- This youth development program is essential in helping students get to the next grade level and have success in the classroom. The funds raised at Friday night's event will help the Hillside Work-Scholarship Connection hire youth advocates to work with about 1,000 city based students.
The third annual Taste of Success is a great opportunity to taste a variety of fine New York State wines, beer, and of course delicious food samples.
Wegmans is again the host of this popular event, so you can expect to taste plenty of fine foods prepared by its regional chef on site.
The event is also a great way to meet and socialize with people looking to help the same cause. Last year about 90 percent of students in the Hillside program moved on to the next grade level.
"There are over 1,000 youth that are in this program. We really need financial support to help them and engage them to make sure that they are graduating from high school and prepared for workforce, as well as college graduation," said Evelyn Carter, Wegmans Public Relations Director.
The Taste of Success will take place Friday night at the International Pavilion at the New York State Fairgrounds. The event will take place from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and tickets can be purchased for $50.
You can purchase tickets at the door or at any Wegmans store in the Syracuse area.
