Military families to get free passes to national parks

UNITED STATES -- As a way of saying thank you to men and women serving in the U.S. military, the White House announced that military families can get a free pass to the nation's parks and monuments.
The annual pass is normally prices at about $80.
The program will cost the government between $2 and $6 million.
The first free passes are being issued Tuesday in Virginia.
