BROOME COUNTY, N.Y -- Cleanup continues this morning after a Chobani truck spilled 18 tons of Greek yogurt on Interstate 88 in the town of Chenango. The Broome County Sheriff’s Office said the tractor trailer flipped onto its side while making a left turn, spilling 36,000 pounds of yogurt Monday night.

The driver was not hurt, but was ticketed for failure to reduce speed and improper lane use.

The westbound highway was closed throughout the night and traffic is still being diverted off Exit 1 while clean-up efforts continue.
