ONONDAGA COUNTY, N.Y. -- DeWitt Police located an East Syracuse man Sunday evening, just a few hours after he was reported missing.

They say Emil Darin, 89, was located at a local hospital where he was being treated for injuries he received in a car accident earlier in the day.

Darin was reported missing around 8:00 p-m after he didn't return to his East Syracuse home. There was some concern for his safety because of his medical history, but police say he is okay. The injuries he sustained in the crash are not believed to be life-threatening.
