BUFFALO, N.Y. - Two former Corning standouts are leading the country in scoring and carrying the Buff State women's lacrosse program to new heights this spring.
Corning East alum Karen Shaddock tops the nation with 106 goals this season and ranks second on the Division III all-time scoring list with 454 career points for the Bengals.
Corning West grad Kendyl Clarkson has a national-best 86 assists this year and a Division III record 238 for her career.
The dynamic duo has led Buffalo State (14-6) to its first NCAA tournament and will look to extend their careers in the second round Saturday at Trinity College in Connecticut.
