SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Michelle Tumolo has had another dominant year for the Orange offense, scoring 43 goals and dishing out 40 assists. Her performance has not gone unnoticed nationally. Thursday, Tumolo was named a finalist for the Tewaaraton award, given to the best player in college lacrosse.
Tumolo is the second Orange player in program history to be a finalist for the award. Katie Rowan made the final five in 2008. The winner will be announced on May 31st in Washington DC.
