LEWIS COUNTY, N.Y. -- A Lewis County man is in critical condition following a motorcycle crash. Sheriff's deputies said Robert Bowers, 55, was driving his motorcycle down Osceola Road Sunday night when he lost control, hit a tree, and was thrown off.

He was found by someone driving by and was flown to Upstate University Hospital.

The sheriff's department is investigating the crash.
