Police looking for motorcyclist who hit 6-year-old

SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Syracuse police are looking for a motorcyclist who hit a 6-year-old boy with his bike and took off. The accident happened on the 200 block of Roberts Avenue around 1:20 p.m. Saturday.

The child was taken to Upstate Hospital Pediatric Unit to be treated for a leg injury and cuts to the head. His injuries are not considered life-threatening.

Witnesses described the motorcycle as dark or black and was possibly a Harley-Davidson. The operators was wearing a black leather jacket.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Syracuse Police Traffic Division at 442-5151.
