Bath salts bust in Ithaca
ITHACA, N.Y. -- Authorities seized thousands of dollars in synthetic drugs from an Ithaca business.
Police executed a search warrant at "3-D Light" on East State Street Friday. According to investigators, undercover officers purchased a variety of products that tested positive for controlled substances. They seized more than 1,700 packages of synthetic drugs under various brand names. The drugs are estimated to be worth more than $45,000.
Police say designer drugs like these are becoming more common among teens and children and they can cause a number of health issues.
Criminal charges are still pending in the case.
