JEFFERSON COUNTY, N.Y. -- A Jefferson County man has been accused of forcibly raping a young girl. State Police arrested David Murdock, 38, of Natural Bridge on Tuesday. They said an investigation revealed that he had forcible sexual intercourse with a 13-year-old girl.

Murdock has been charged with first degree rape and endangering the welfare of a child. He was arraigned in Carthage Court and jailed on $10,000 bail.
