STEUBEN COUNTY, N.Y. -- A man who killed a four-year-old boy when he was teenager is up for parole this week.
Eric Smith was 13 when he killed the boy in the Steuben County village of Savona back in 1994. Smith lured the boy into some woods, and crushed his skull with a rock.
On Tuesday, he goes before the state parole board for the sixth time. He's now 32-years old, and is serving a nine years to life sentence at Dannemora Prison in Clinton County.
