SCHUYLER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Former Gubernatorial candidate Carl Paladino was in Watkins Glen on Sunday to speak at the Twin Tiers Tea Party Rally.
The rally that took place in the Clute Park Convention Hall drew hundreds of local supporters. It was designed for speakers to voice their opinion on numerous political issues as well as address their beliefs on the upcoming presidential election.
Brad Lytle, the Twin Tier Tea Party President said, “The solution to the problem we have with a 15.6 trillion dollar deficit is not more taxes but less spending."
Carl Paladin, a Former NY Gubernatorial Candidate said, “The greater evil is Obama. That evil seeks to break the spirit of America. The man is clearly trying to lead us to a socialistic society and he has to go."
Other local leaders who attended the event were Assemblyman Chris Friend, State Senator Tom O'Mara and Congressman Tom Reed.
