Three charged for stealing cart full of merchandise from WalMart

HERKIMER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Three people were arrested after police said they walked out of a WalMart with a cart full of stolen merchandise. Police said Jose Rosado, 19, fled when police arrived at the store in Herkimer, but was caught after they chased him to a nearby parking lot. Rosado is charged with resisting arrest, petit larceny and harassment.

Joshua Capirci, 19, was also arrested at the Herkimer Police Station when he was identified by a WalMart employee as one of the suspects. Capirci is charged with petit larceny and unlawful possession of marijuana.

The third suspect, Andrea Vandyke, 20, turned herself into officers and is charged with petit larceny.
