SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Yunesky Maya pitched six scoreless and the Syracuse Chiefs won their first game of the year in shutout fashion, 4-0 over the Empire State Yankees. Bryce Harper went 1 for 3 at the plate and also made a diving catch in right field to save two runs.
The Chiefs will return to action Sunday against Empire State. First pitch is at 5 PM.
