CHITTENANGO, N.Y. -- It took firefighters more than two hours to get a house fire under control in Chittenango.
The fire started around 3 p.m. Wednesday at the home on Perryville Road. Twelve different fire departments were on scene to help put out the flames.
Firefighters say the stone structure of the home, along with high winds, made attacking the fire more difficult.
No one was inside when the fire started. Investigators are not sure yet what caused the fire.
