LIVERPOOL, N.Y. -- Central New York culinary experts created some of their signature dishes for guests in Liverpool. It was a room full of some of the best food around for this year's March of Dimes Signature Chefs Auction at the Holiday Inn.

Chefs from 12 restaurants and two wineries served up more than 300 people. The event raises money for the March of Dimes to help research efforts in the fight to prevent premature births.

"What most people don't know is that Onondaga County has the largest population of preterm babies in the nation, that are born preterm. So it's very important to raise the awareness and that Onondaga County really come out and support this effort," said Renee Carolyn, March of Dimes Signature Chefs Chair.

The emcee of the event was a face you may recognize, our own Cooking at Home chef Dan Eaton.
