ONONDAGA COUNTY, N.Y. -- Spring was in the air at the SRC Arena at Onondaga Community College. That's where the CNY In Bloom Flower Show was held this weekend.

Thousands of people came out to smell the tulips and get tips about getting their gardens primed and ready for spring.

It was the first year the event was held at the new SRC Arena, and organizers say the venue got rave reviews.

Tim Ballantyne, Co-Chair said, “The building is gorgeous, it's got a lot of open space, it's really bright and white and well lit. So you can really show off your exhibits beautifully."

Music and speakers were also part of the entertainment for everyone who came out to see the show.
